John: Unless intc has a problem in fabrication I can't believe this is anything but good news. No such issues, (shortages), emerged in Q3 and Q3 was a record earnings quarter. If intc is shipping all of the higher end chips it can produce and still can't satisfy demand Q4 earnings should be spectacular. There are risks that have mentioned by others including giving cyrix or amd an opening. I'd be a lot more concerned if cyrix or amd started selling more because they were perceived as superior to intc. And they are not! At least by 85.67333333% of pc buyers. Best Regards Greg Gimelli
