True, fundamentals do not have any relevence to short-term trading situations such as these. However, the same factors which caused the stock to spike higher (illiquidity, rumors, etc.) can also cause the stock to nosedive, as it eventually must given the lack of fundamental basis for the current valuation. In spite of what you may belive, fundamentals will eventually rule the day. If you think you're smart enough to trade an illiquid stock like SIEB on the long side then I tip my hat to you. Don't confuse luck with skill in these situations!
