Patrick - Au contraire. The difference twixt taking profits and going short is the difference between a missed opportunity and an actual capital loss.

It's generally best to wait until a stock shows some signs of weakness before going short. You're shorting just as TAVA is starting to flex its new margin muscles.

A big buyer[s] has been hitting TAVA since 10.
Check yesterday's chart. At 13 1/2 a HUGE buyer hit it again.

re which institutions? - too soon to tell. But the tape seldom lies.
I expect at least one more day of institutional buying [today] so that after the 3-day to settle, a huge winner will be on their Q1 books.

Then, once the big boys are in, I expect IR will "thank" them with a press release to make their timing have been right.

I sincerely urge caution on the short side at this point.
At what price did you go short, and will you average up if it rises?
