Hi Victor: Greespan's response would be that the chicken suffered from "irrational exuberance" in making a hasty decision to traverse to the other side <gg>. However, many other pundits thought a DOW of 9000 was unthinkable and 10000 was "wacko". I don't listen to the pundits (anymore). Nice to see new people on this thread ---- "needs fresh blood".
