Dumbmoney,

>>>>>>>>><< But they are doing just that...Last summer MU announced an alliance with LSI to embed Memory into ASIC logic chips and, as far as I know, continues to follow down this path. >>

Apparently not very aggresively.

<<<<<<<<

I assume you are trying to just be funny. This is far from trivial...but when it occurs will be very profitable.

>>>>>>>>><< Common sense should tell you that SEA can not continue to stay in a business that loses money. They are now finding it difficult to get funding for new technology, in their manufacturing and testing, and will literally be left in the dust with the rapid changes that we now see in the newer Memory devices. >>

This is silly. MU has the same money problems. You may have noticed that MU is selling off pieces of itself. Perhaps it never occured to you that the SEA firms can (and are) doing the same. Samsung makes everything from cars to microwave ovens. Hyandai recently sold Symbios Logic to ADPT for $700 mil to raise some pocket change.<<<<<<<<

You have got to be kidding, although MU's earnings are hurting their financial situation is not nearly as bad as SEA...especially Korea. Remember Samsung and others are out there begging for money and closing up fabs and delaying other fabs...MU on the other hand is sitting on almost $1 billion. Sure they are selling off businesses that are not central to their business plan, but that is always done by the best companies out there.

>>>>>>>>>><< I really think you guys better look more objectively at the segment changes and how MU is performing or you will start losing some serious money. >>

David, simple question. Is MU going to lose even more money this Q, and if so, why the heck would anyone want to own this dog?
<<<<<<<<<<<

YES, of course they are going to lose money this Q and maybe the next. You are talking like a brainwashed "forever bear".<g> That is priced into the stock. Many companies out there have short term
earnings problems but are selling at very high multiples. You are
just focusing on the obvious current problem that EVERYONE already knows about.

Good Luck Trading
