Hank, that is a very good point. The potential side effects of a general vasodilator, like phentolamine, could be very significant. When I first heard about Vasomax, I wondered how well it it would be tolerated. At first glance, you would have to be concerned about someone already on hypertensive medication, esp if it is something like a venous dilator. The FDA will definitely look at safety issues with Phentolamine, like it does with any NDA.
