Think about it... raising the bid on selling and no volume?? Seems a bit crazy doesn't it?? If you're short however, you may do this to get longs that bought in at lower prices to sell. This works because they may reach some limit sell orders or maybe they'll just get sells from someone who sees they can get more for your shares today than they could yesterday :) My main concern is that one of the most reliable indicators (what I call the "Naydex" or "Nay index") of a pending short squeeze is not showing here. Normally when a short squeeze is pending, the shorts pull out all the stops to prevent it, even going as far as to hire individuals to go online and bash the company and stock 24/7. Unless I've missed something, that element does not exist here... -R
