A company the size of Nimbus has news very seldom, so fundamentals specific to Nimbus are difficult to find. To help in that effort though, we can look down the food chain and infer how business at Nimbus is going. If a competitor reports weak earnings because of poor music sales, then that segment at Nimbus may be weak. If business at a company which Nimbus supplies (Microsoft) is strong, then maybe the computer CD business is strong. If DVD growth is strong then maybe the DVD segment of the business at Nimbus is strong. If we add it all together we have an estimate of the current business climate at Nimbus, without having to wait for them to announce earnings or an earnings warning.
