Paul Weiss, StanS.... Both of you gentlemen are feeling bad about being dragged into situations far below your character, and acting in ways totally uncustomary to your natures.
Please stop for a minute. Both of you gentlemen have differing views, both of you have good insights and comments necessary to this thread. Both of you are wanted, needed... on this thread.
The nastiness and incredible fighting that has taken place here is unique. Hell, it's got us in the Wall Street Journal. It has dragged into the foray a lot of good people, wise and knowledgable people, chewed them up and spit them out. Long and short.
You two gentlemen would be a good pair to bring it to an end.
Pink even acknowledged in his last few posts he's going to cool it.
Suppose we all try to continue posting our thoughts, our concerns, our discoveries, but, without the personal attacks.
It's time for that to happen.
Sure, there will be a few posters who will continue to be personally assaulting or insulting. Perhaps we all, short or long, can ignore them, or if necessary, together condemn them for their abuses.
Paul and Stan, both of you are intelligent, astute posters, and should remain posting here, unassaulted and unmolested.
I'd ask that you both remain posting, and everyone else try to keep civil to each other, and stop with the insults and personal attacks.
