Matt - I assume this refers to pulsed plasma devices the company plans to manufacture and sell (under license to Avogadro). The discussion on this thread has been narrowly focusing on INIS competitive posture in seed manufacturing. Obviously, they lag in this area compared to NASI or THRX. But there is much, much more to this company. They are poised to be the leader in the rapidly expanding field of medical isotope use, including diagnostic isotopes, therapeutic isotopes, seeds, gamma cameras, linacs, etc.

As far as licenses, forget about NRC: they are not a player. Radioactive material use is regulated by the State of Texas, and radiosiotopes produced for use in pharmaceuticals require a "Drug Master File" with FDA. There is always uncertainty with regard to time for approvals, but (assuming complete applications are filed) it is highly unlikely that these will not be approved. I believe they already have a permit to operate the LINAC up to 30 MeV, which will allow them to produce some key isotopes. But they need to get up to 70 MeV to produce Mo-99.

I too lament not buying INIS at 8 and NASI at 2 (I waited until almost 20 for both). I think INIS may consolidate for a while, simply because it has come so far so fast and profits are still a year or two away. I'm gambling that the price will come down to 25 or so; if not, I'll still accumulate.
