to max and rob: in the past 10 days pwjc (painwebber), reds (redstone sec.) shwd (sherwood sec) have all entered the box as new market makers. pwjc and shwd do good size in general. The more market makers enter the better for improved liquidity in this case. I am waiting for a big w.s. brokerage house to enter the box such as smith barney or bear sterns or opco. if this happens there is a good chance that the entering company would soon pick up the security under coverage. this is speculation not a rule. but it is a safe bet. a big house like pwjc wouldn't bother in this small cap unless it is going to do some trading volume. please call your stock loan departments and see if you can borrow more than 5000 shs to short. i can't and i checked today with three big houses. this is very interesting because the stock volume has dried up lately. if the shorts could borrow more shares they would and hit this baby. they cant so they are sitting here waiting for the 144a people to come to the bid. this isnt happening because i think they want at least $10. now if any positive news comes out the stock will increase on this news and the shorts could be bought in or forced to cover. in either case the risk reward ratio to be short this stock is not favorable from the way i view this scenario.
