OC would you care to give the definition of MPEG2 for us? Not exactly something that can be done in a few lines of verbage. MPEG2 can deliver realtime video across the isa bus at data rates as low as 1.5 MBytes and that's a full screen of data not a small area of the screen. You are always slightly things off the truth. How much money have you made by, your quote, "separating fools from their money"? Have you ever heard of Seachange? They sell add insertion equipment to advertising distributors with MPEG2 COMPRESSION TECHNOLOGY and have been doing it for years. Scientific Atlanta originally developed that technology along with competitor General Instruments. MPEG2 technology is used in many different applications world wide. You show your ignorance or lack of integrity by knocking compression technologies and I doubt that you are capable of understanding MPEG2. MPEG2 has already changed the way the advertising world operates. Commercials are no longer trucked around the country within film cannisters. Sattelite links are now used for distribution. Checkout SEAC if you want to know more about the technology because you are definitely lacking or lying.
