Thanks for your Oracle story. If one wants to compare MSFT let's look at the customer satisfaction issue.
Microsft is the least sensitive customer satisfaction company I have ever had the displeasure to do business with. I firmly believe they put bugs in their products for the simple intent to ruin someone else's products. AOL is one example. If I go to any Microsoft page and try to use their fixes, they are down, they are unavailable or they lead you to a dead end.
They will not answer their mail and their telephone reps are arrogant, uninformative and cannot act without talking to a supervisor, (who is always in a meeting and will call back, but never does). And if you try to uninstall you are doomed. Comments anyone?
