Because I thought I was INVESTING in a decent company. I am a poor market timer and therefore try to stay away from trading. My investment window is usually 3 - 5 years. If I don't see a decent return I bail and never look back. This method works most of the time for me. I have had only a few bad calls, XIRC is one.
