As a former corporate Wall St. HR Executive: It is common & ethical HR practice NOT to disclose personal info such as: 'why' an ex-employee left the firm, their 'age' etc. If you were to freely get this info from an HR person or whomever @ the company, that person, IF known, would be in hot water to say the least. Granted, there are those who would not think twice about sharing such info...I certainly would not want them to have access to my personnel info. In short, info regarding high profile Executives is typically found through PR stories...
