Does anyone know what the appropriate valuation would be for a combined Telus/AT&T entity? I don't know enough about the business to even guess if Telus is wildly overpriced (and therefore a sell) at $44, or if the new company would be a great competitor that could be worth double in a couple of years. You can tell a pretty good story either way:
- The new Telus expands into the east, something it was prevented from doing by the Stentor alliance, and captures valuable market share from Bell; or
- Bell uses its muscle to compete in Alberta, and cuts Telus off at the knees on its home turf.

Any ideas out there?
