I am *extremely* bullish about Apple this year. The 2nd quarter earnings to be announced on april 15 are going to shock the analysts, and there's more news and exciting products to come in the near future. AAPL in my opinion will be one of the best performing stocks this year, short and long term. It's coming back at full steam. The telephone duopoly here is scheduled to end on november 1999, and after that, 2 more companies can enter the fray, so to speak, and only 2. So, it will be a very orderly transition, and everybody will be able to keep making money. Most likely candidates are the biggest cable company here, and one big cellular and multimedia group called Grupo Clarin. Telefonica, on the other hand, is trying to enter the big brazilian market, when Telebras is privatized.
