I'm at a loss as to all the complaints here. I'm in South Florida, about as far away as anyone , and I rarely have any breaks in service. Maybe once or twice a day, there is a 1-2 minute break in service, but trust me folks, that is great compared to other services.
I have used four others, and came from DBC prior to this. Compared with two recent 2-3 hours outtages at DBC, I'm in nirvana land here. While I would like to find out why the program won't save the page layouts, and some other little things, I am very happy with this service. It is DEFINITELY the best value around.
It took me awhile to realize that with analog phone lines, NO service will be perfect. I spent alot of wasted energy getting myself worked up with anger at any slight hiccup. I also had to learn that every computer system, depending on location, configuration, modem, phone line quality, and (ESPECIALLY) VIDEO CARD, make a big difference in what kind of service you get from whomever your data vendor is. One service that I think stinks may work great for you, and vice versa. It took me going through four services before I found this one. And I paid up to $300/month for others. I've only been here for a month, but already it has been better than the previous ones I used.
If you can't get Real Time Trader to work right on your machine within a couple of weeks, then go ELSEWHERE. You may find a service that works for you. Otherwise, find the conflict in your system and fix it. I am amazed at the angry posts from people who are still paying after a year, and still complaining. If low price is what you want, try WWQuote. Didn't work for me, but others like it. This is what choice is all about. |
