Trader X, excellent points. That's the reason why we don't want stocks that are under $5.

If you look closer, you'll see that everyone is assigned a ranking, from "Newbie" to "Guru", i.e. 1-5. Obviously the more "reliable" someone proves to be, the higher the rank we assign them.

As for CNBC verifying their rumors, that's total hogwash. If they did, they wouldn't be rumors, they would be insider information in the guise of a rumor. That would be disingenuous. For example, it was CNBC that reported a year and a half ago about MSFT being rumored to buy PRGS. I confirmed through PRGS that the whole episode was, pure and simple, a scam.

I could go on, but you get the point. (gg)

So, yes, a prudent phrase would be "Buyer Beware". But, hey, sometimes you might hit a home-run. That's what makes it fun.
