Declining stocks

It's important to realize that if one thinks it can't get any worse, it usually does. I took a hit last year with WDC. The rationale for staying in it on the way down was easy to understand. It was that it just couldn't go any lower. But it did. It's PE dropped from the 20's to 12 then to 5.

The lesson I learned was to not be afraid of getting out of a losing position if there are no sure signs of a turnaround anytime soon. Iomega is in such a situation right now. Don't be afraid to make a fresh start somewhere else.
