In order to invest using pure technical analysis, you must ignore completely all fundamentals. Not knowing what a company does is one of the key assumptions in pure technical analysis and pure chart theory.

Now, many professional money managers use a technical trading discipline to supplement their fundamental analysis. That is fine as long as you keep it in perspective. To react to every tick at, above, or below moving averages, support levels, etc. is overkill. If you were going to do that, why don't you go trade futures and currencies where the action and reaction on every tick is much more meaningful.
