Ive been wondering the same thing Peter.. So many rants about the quotes. And now they want B/A sizes. Just more bandwith hogging to slow down the rest of the Datek site. I couldn't trade effectively without streaming quotes, either. I would prefer that Datek keep it simple, and use its resources for trading quality. As we've all seen, the more they add, the slower and more problematic they become. I wish they had stuck with what brought 'em here; simple, no frills trading, with realtime quotes as an added bonus. Active traders is what made Datek grow, and the quotes were used as a back-up to a separate, streaming r/t service. Ah, for the good ole days. Change is tough. <g>
