Yes a good day for gold,
cnnfn.com
August futures up $2.70, platinum up ten bucks.
And speaking of the gold stocks, here is my list
of the gold stocks and metals funds I have in a
yahoo quote cluster
quote.yahoo.com
of course the funds wont catch up til after the close.
If anybody has a strong opinion about dropping
any names, and adding a few others, I'd appreciate
it. I haven't spent any time putting a better list
of things together, since they all pretty much trade
together. Also, since I own MINE, I haven't felt
compelled to trade in any of the golds--tho I did
have the Fidelity fund for the January bounce.

Of course MINE is not in the list, because I
instead have it in my real portfolio--for those that
don't know quote.yahoo.com is excellent in that
you can set up different portfolios with different display
characteristics--(one reason I don't have yahoo puts,
but rather a few Excite puts (too chicken to put aol)).

Anyway, I digress--I see bobby beara has got us riding
the waves, awesome man--will have to link it over to
Ed's thread and see what he says.

Finally, Mark and Claude, your complimentary comments
were very nice, thanks. With the apparent death of
the 1000/week thread, and the lack of interest in
the Kahuna thread, I was starting to get paranoid
that folks in our SI community were starting to
avoid me. It is interesting to watch people jump from
thread to thread, and watch the activity of certain
topics pick up or fade--many threads simply work as
chat rooms.

I guess just one of the symptoms of interacting
through keyboards is that you it is difficult to judge
how people react to your thoughts--while in person
people have a whole host of very expressive facial
and body gestures.

Anyway, was glad to see you guys thot that it was
prudent to take some gains--I had never intended to
get into this anymore than 100k shares, so the extra
shares were kind of a short-term trading thing anyway.

Well, the trading day is wrapping up, and miracle of
miracles, it has stopped raining--time to go outside
and leave SI for the day. (I wonder when they are
going to figure out that they have not billed me for
my SI membership!). Bye for now all.
