according to the s.f. chronicle article i referenced a few posts back: "in december, 3com's distributors had on hand about 10 to 12 weeks' worth of modem products and 8 weeks' worth of other networking products. it now has reduced that backlog to six or seven weeks' worth. 'our inventory levels are now at the lowest they've been in the last year,' said chairman and ceo eric benhamou. 'we have no more hurdles to cross before (seeing) strong improvements in our operating performance over the next few quarters.' " so, a backlog of six to seven weeks' worth still exists. hmmm. sounds less optimistic than "unstuffed", don't you agree? mr.mark
