When is bad news good news? Bad news is good news when capacity exceeds demand. The worse the news is the better are our chances that expansion plans will be curtailed and production will be cut back. The best news of all would be the bankruptcy of several of the weaker players. So if you're long drive stocks, like I am, keep hoping for more bad news. Don't forget also that markets generally look 6 months down the road and even the bears like Pat Tenney at RS are calling for improvement in the 3rd quarter.
