Thursday March 26, 3:34 pm Eastern Time US Justice settles dispute with Unisys, Lockheed WASHINGTON, March 26 (Reuters) - The U.S. Justice Department said Thursday that Unisys Corp (UIS - news) and Lockheed Martin Corp (LMT - news) will pay $3.15 million to settle allegations that Unisys sold spare parts at inflated prices for a government radar system. The Justice Department said Lockheed Martin succeeded Unisys on the contract with the Commerce Department for the NEXRAD Doppler radar system. The Justice Department said the settlement resolved allegations that Unisys knew the prices it paid Concurrent Computer Corp (CCUR - news) for the spare parts were inflated when it passed on those prices to the government. It said Unisys had obtained price discounts from Concurrent on other items Unisys was purchasing from Concurrent at Unisys' own expense in exchange for agreeing to pay Concurrent the inflated prices. The Justice Department said it sued Concurrent in December, charging it violated the false claims law by denying to the government that it granted discounts to Unisys for the spare parts. The suit is scheduled for trial in the summer, it said. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ DH
