I just spoke with Greg Staziak in PR...

and asked him about the "no newswire" deal.

He said that a standard clause in all their client contracts indicates that they would release information to the mainstream newswires, blah, blah, blah.

However, for whatever reason, Applied Materials specifically requested that that right be stricken from the contract. Apparently Applied Materials would prefer to handle any release regarding the relationship on their end. Of course, TSIS said fine, since they'd rather make the deal than quibble over the fine print.

So, TSIS faxed all their shareholders, and they will tell anyone who calls and asks, but...no newswires, nada, never, no-how!

So it's up to US to spread the word (some may call it hype, but I prefer to call it spreading the word).

If you'd like to check this out yourself, call Greg Staziak at 800-931-5050. He's a real friendly guy.
