Peter, I agree about the live updating quotes. I use Bullsession at bullsession.com Cost is $31.95/month for NYSE and NASDAQ. Can add options and AMEX and others incrementally. It runs as a Java app so its cross-platform. I use from work (Unix) and from home (win95). Can handle up to 300 ticker symbols in one list, I track about 30-40 at a time. The quote feed is via S&P Comstock. Its pretty awesome. I've been using it about a month. I used to click a lot.
