A tidbit of email information ... please respond via email to
Sam if you have additional info:

Dan:

I don't have anyone's email address at work (especially not Mary
Kay's), but I thought I'd give you what I have heard. It's not much.

The Sebring race, I thought, would be a place to highlight the car,
but it proved to be another disappointment. After completing only 16
laps (of a 12 hour race), the car left the competition. I doubt that
any ESPN2 coverage would even mention the car since it left the race
so early. No reason for the early exit was given (it's listed on the
"Professional Sports Car" web site), but that's par for the Vector
course. They failed to make a taping session for TV in the early 1980s
and no reason was given (it later turned out to be a major mechanical
failure).

Please let your fellow VCAR holder know this...and you may post this
address as well as the AOL one if anyone would like to chat directly
with me. Thanks for your help. Look for the Collectible Automobile
August issue with the Vector article that I authored.

I think something must be up ... Vector continues to trade.
Also, located an attorney in Jacksonville, FL, who is representing
VCAR still. Might try him for info: Bill Thompson 904-356-3131.

Best to all VCAR holders !

Dan
