Thank you very much for the kind words about my sister Al.
She also regarded you as a close friend. She was also on the same
humor wave length as you. Remember the "Zappa for food" remark?
She thought of that just about the same time and was hoping that Cambior or Zappa would appear at a gold show somewhere. We were prepared to be at the buildings entrance with pick axe, shovel, other mining equipment, and a 50 pound bag of salt while trying to exchange Zappa certificates for McDonalds burgers, coffee, or whatever. I still hope to do this someday. Al wondered if about
20 or so years ago you used to listen to and memorize Robert Klein and George Carlin albums as she did. She could recite every word from the movie "Duck Soup." and loved the Marx Brothers. She didn't take herself too seriously and enjoyed life to the fullest. When I asked her if she would really go to Vancouver should ZPA hit $2.00 she said " We shall travel to Vancouver, go to the nearest open field, hold hands and sing
"Kumbaya." Thanks again for your kind words. In December I will publish another one of her Zappa Christmas spoof songs, which was completed too late for 1997.
