Hi Justin

It would seem to me the danger of infection would not be in the needle itself but in the conditions the needle would have to be used in. War zones, traffic accidents, and other disasters do not make for a sterile environment. On the other hand I personally would rather spend three weeks in a hospital with a bone infection than the rest of eternity six feet under.

It is a sure thing Dr. Stair would not have let it be used on himself if he felt there was a chance of a bone infection.
