Saying "NCs might be able to to <what PCs already do well>" is not exciting, because there's nothing an NC can do better or cheaper than a "PC-lite". The only reason PC clone makers don't make super cheap PCs already is that there's no money in it. If NCs establish a profitable market (big if), PC-lites will instantly appear and force margins down to almost nothing.
