Let's get this straight. I will be honest, I lost $1000. Can I use that to offset gains for 1997, or, I can wait to offset gains in 1998? Is there a limit as to how long I can carry this loss forward? Is it considered a "worthless" stock? And what happens if the company begins trading again. Do I still own my shares? Thanks.
