I listened to the INTS conference call to see what's going on over there.

Here are some of the comments made:

Many of the analysts seemed pleased with the turnaround. Prism is doing well and the margins are expected to grow as INTS makes the transition from using 3rd party tools to its own. The number of design wins is up 2 times that of last year with telecommunications taking the lead. Internet devices are growing fast. Consumer applications too. They are trying to establish larger accounts which means more emphasis on service. They expect to sell 5000 pRISM seats this year at $10,000 per seat. They see the industry growing at 30% per year. Does anyone know why they only made a 14% gain in sales?

St. Charles had some interesting comments on the CE threat. He thinks that INTS is well poised to work as a partner with MSFT and HP. CE will provide the interface and INTS will provide the small footprint RTOS. He thinks larger partners entering the market will help the market grow. He seemed to imply that WIND may have more conflict with CE than INTS.

That last statement got me worrying that MSFT might gang up on the leader by partnering with INTS to break into the RTOS market. Is there any reason to worry?

The INTS conference call can be heard for the next two days at 402-530-8055 #8484410.
