Gregory, hi again.
My start on this subject is one of still needing to learn more than I know, but it seems very real that the old testament is a shadow or copy if you will, of things to come, so I think there is much in that allegorical category of which you speak. I think my take on this subject of Lucifer ,is that because of his proudness, he would have wanted to be equal with God, and you know as well as I that the created can not be above the Creator. The clay does not tell the potter how or what to make it.Although I believe that satan or Lucifer was thrown out of heaven I do not believe it is a matter of grace salvation to not know when all this took place.
One thing I do believe is that Jesus of Nazareth,The Christ, died for me that I may live for Him.
Hey Shalom, how about this song? THE HOLY HEART
The Holy Heart was broken, Sent from the Father's side. The Son of God forsaken, The Holy Sacrifice.
The Holy Lamb was stricken, abandoned and alone. He bore the worlds affliction, He bore it as His own.
For me He was forsaken, for me He died alone. My sin forever taken, That I might be his own
And when my heart is broken, torn by my sin and pride. The Son of God now RISEN, will draw me to His side.
For me He was forsaken for me He died alone. My sin forever taken, THAT I MIGHT BE HIS OWN
