CNBC did not say ZITL was worth $1 1/2 per share.

What they said was if you extrapolated $1.5 million for 7% of MatriDigm, it would only be worth $1.50.

However, no one is taking this extrapolation seriously because the guy who bought the 7% stake helped out MatriDigm a lot (CNBC pointed this out). So they gave him a steeply discounted price out of consideration for his contribution. That is why ZITL's stock survived yet another "negative" piece of news today.
