Addi, Jtechkids comments are really very rational... and even if u disagree with them u should be generous enough to recognize that they are both brave and consistent... I consider jtechkid to be a si treasure... a honest voice uncluttered by either doubt or compromize.... lets look at the facts... intc delays a fab until 2002 and the semi-equips rally.... please.... adobe runs up 3+ points and then releases terrible earnings.... thank u.... MU is working off a gross margin of 5%... not feasable.... now wants govenment protection from a cycle it started... it held up but now its going going gone... the disc drive makers the monitor makers the modem makers are getting squeezed by the pc makers, who still aren't making money... apple has trippled, yet adobe says that demand for mac software is crumbling... and they should know... cpq is to further reduce prices on its pc's including offering sub $1000 pc's for businesses... in New york u can by loaded systems with free monitors and printers for $1000 georges... unsustainable... it is not jtechkid that is irrational... but the bubble... a bubble that is driving the property and labor markets so fast that interest rates have no where to run but up.... all that is happening is that the the correction that is due, will be more severe... no it will not be the end of the world... but it might feel like it for a couple of days... and will provide enormous oportunity for those with cash... and before I am accused of being bitter and twisted because the market raced off without me... I have already stated on this thread that my active positions are ABX, SLB, Oxhp and Via.B calls all (except oxhp) of which have made out like bandits in the past week... In fact I am up nearly 50% this month (FYI - I am now out of both SLB and Via.B)....
