Chris & Nescom:
Its nice to read some posts that take stock as an investment. I sit here and so often think that, were I the CEO of a touted company, I would not waste my time trying to please a group of people who are only after a quick profit without any consideration as to what that kind of trading might do to the value of the Co Stock. If I were trying to build a strong Co. the people that would matter are those that had an interest in a strong business: profitable, debt free, growing and presenting a strong stock with a reasonable float.
In no way am I averse to day trading, or flipping, momentum playing etc. This Co, however, is not some shell corp, flailing about for some product to hustle, or some other shell with which to merge in a flurry of PR.
I am as anxious as anyone to see my portfolio grow. Its also kind of exciting being part of a new business ( Who knows ? I might even get a set of neon dice for my wheel chair ) [:})
Just my opinion. But : as the Bishop said to the waitress," Easy does it ! "
