Hi Christine, Perhaps your friends troubles were because she is one of those that scar more heavily, thus pulling on the remaining eyelids. It sounds like the surgeon was calling it too close. There should be a little extra skin left to anticipate problems like this.

I am going to be extra careful now. I had been hearing that it was a simple procedure, with little risk.
