Well guys and girls the news has finally arrived. Robert, I apologize for having doubted you for a moment but it seemed too good to be true that you could have sniffed this one out so far in advance. Good work!
I'm not going to run any numbers on this deal as this has already been done by other thread participants.(where do they come up with the name "thread"?)
My first reaction to this deal was very negative. Mr Henstridge has given control of management to GBU shareholders (not to mention the $) and in return created a junior exploration company with 50 million shares outstanding (now that's a lot no matter how you look at it) Even with the potential gold reserves GBU may have based on the information disclosed to date, there is a maximum upside of $5:00 per share.(unless POG goes through the roof) This is certainly not enough to justify the risk I'm exposed too when investing in this type of speculative play.
Now after having several drinks and having sat back and postulated over this deal I ask the question why would Mr. Henstridge do such a thing to himself and his shareholders. The only thing I can think of is that GBU is onto something potentially much bigger than the numbers disclosed to date (or else he has gone totally mad). I know he spent about 10 days visiting GBU's properties and reviewing drilling results near the end of February and I hope he has more insights about the potential of GBU"S properties than I do right now (I know very little about GBU other than what I've picked up from Robert). I would expect him to have some sort of timely news release directed to PVO's current shareholders supporting this deal. Otherwise he will have very quickly lose my confidence in this deal and this newly created company.
