$0.45 shipping per CD sounds expensive, but there might be some facts that we don't know about. Maybe it's shipping AND handling. ;-) Regardless, it doesn't matter whether they're paying $0.01 or $0.45 or $5.00 per CD shipping cost. What's important here is that Spinner Records will be getting their CDs manufactured by Markatech. Same city, non-existent shipping costs, done deal.

Instead of focusing on what Spinner currently pays for shipping, let's start looking at how many CDs Spinner and their related company, Compact Disc Inc., has sold the past few years and what they can sell this year. Then determine MKD's CD plant capacity. I've heard estimates that Spinner can fill between 50% (conservative) and 100% (potentially) of MKD's capacity, but I don't have numbers yet. If anyone has plausible estimates, please post them and we'll get on with building an earnings model. The numbers I've seen and heard so far point to an earnings per share that's greater than the current share price.
