Thanks. It does seem that it's moving closer to a real competitor product for the Strobe. But I reviewed the Storm site. They are totally focused on the photo aspect of the market, ie from a marketing point of view. This may not be a bad approach. However, there are two things that concern my about Storm. The first is cash. They only have about $10 MM. The second, which relates to the first, is that unlike VSNR, they are still in the hemmoraging mode on the cost side. This was a cursory glance. The Sears contract is good for them, if they get the visibility and IF the market has finally come (we've all been waiting so long).

It'd be great if these two companies got together. They look at different target markets: VSNR (documanagement/business/SOHO flatbeds) and Storm (inexpensive photo inputs).
