Hello all,

I noticed that some people are talking about homosexuality. I thought I'd throw my two cents into the ring and see if we could get a discussion going.

I think Christians wronglfully single out homosexuals as big "sinners," when they are really not that different from others. What I'm getting at is that homosexuality is wrong, IMO, but it is just another sin. Before I was a Christian, I really wanted to have pre-marital sex and was big into lusting. I was sinning (although I didn't ever really have sex) just as bad as a homosexual does and I didn't have the blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse me at the time. People for some reason understand this sin. The true Christians I knew at the time didn't condemn me, but kept loving me even though I sinned in that way as well as many others.

For some reason, I get the impression that it is harder for Christians to separate the sin and sinner when it comes to homosexuality. Christians aren't as tolerant and loving to homosexuals as they are to other sinners. IMO, this is one of the reasons many people turn away from Christianity as they think it is a bunch of rules and that we are trying to change everyone's lifestyle.

I think I could go on and on about this subject, but I'd appreciate feedback as to my current opinions.

Grant
