Someone please tell me what technology Cypress could possibly possess that would make them look interesting to Intel. Sure they can build fast SRAMs etc, but this doesn't set them apart from a sizeable number
of suppliers worldwide. If it did, it seems they would be selling at more profitable prices. Fast SRAM is not the niche, highly profitable market that it once was...
If they have a "value added" aspect to their products that sets them apart then TJ and company should hand over the reins to someone able to market more effectively because their "value added" advantage is a very closely guarded secret :>
This previous upgrade from buy to hold says keep your money in CY only if you're already there and either don't have anything better to do (which suggests an emotional attachment) or, you bought in and haven't gotten back up to your buy price since and don't want to absorb the loss, your really thinking long term.
Enlighten me...
