Class Action Filed Against Zonagen, Inc.

BALA CYNWYD, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 27, 1998--Notice is hereby given that a class action lawsuit was filed on March 26, 1998 in the Southern
District of Texas on behalf of all persons who purchased the common stock of Zonagen, Inc. (''Zonagen'' or the ''Company'') in the open market from May 27,
1997 through Jan. 13, 1998, inclusive (the ''Class Period'').

The complaint charges Zonagen (NASDAQ: ZONA - news) and certain of its officers and directors of the Company with violations of Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of
the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, by, among other things, issuing to the investing public false or misleading statements concerning the effectiveness and market
potential of Vasomax, Zonagen's experimental impotency drug.
