Another Option, Real-time Trader from www.naq.com I have for the past month been using this and have been extremely impressed. I am a newbie to trading but have found that after spending a few days tuning the screen to show me the information I want I think it's Great ! Also you can pick up a free-ware version that runs on delayed quotes from kanisa.com who developed this software for NAQ and the software is identicle to RealTime trader only it connects to 20 min. delayed servers. This is a Windows program that has the Info pushed to you based on the list of stocks you wish to cover. It allow you to see level 1 bid/ask sizes with your quotes while seeing realtime charting for any stock or index at the same time. There is a large list of options for the overlay indicators for the charting and I am not savvy enough to do them justice with an explanation. I also looked at bullsession and the pricing was about the same (~$1/day) but have trouble with some Java implementations due to my internet connection so chose the North American Quotations direct application and have been happy I did. I find this to be a Great addition to my Datek account and presentation of realtime updating charts with both visual and audio alerts that can be set along with the realtime updating quotes is Great ! Have I used the word Great enough....Obviously I'm happy with this program and you have no risk trying it out with the freeware version on delayed quotes which you can then in fact use the setups and exact program on the realtime servers by just registering with NAQ and pointing your setup to their server.
