Why would any company in their right mind pre-announce here? This stock is totally in the toliet at what, a five year low, and you need to pre-announce. Oh my god, I was under the impression that this was the greatest company in the world and was only selling at a steep discount on a P/S basis, because expectations were so high. Well, you can tell by my tone I am pissed. I just wanted another month of mild drift, and maybe a 2 point pop when the announce the MIPS spin off to dump this dog, but NOOOOOOO. Why not issue a letter to all their customers, saying they might be better off buying from Sun, HP, due to their lack of intelligence.
