Hi Ardner! I know the spot price of dram can change dramatically. I do not know of anyone who is following the spot price now. I suppose I could look at the MU thread though.

We have noticed that the prices for dram are going up in our area. And there are a lot of people who are looking at computers. So I was not surprised that Intel has strong orders for its microprocessors.

When chip prices drop you tend to buy more, because you never have enough storage space, memory etc. Yesterday, we installed extra memory to our video adapter (I hope I have the terms right). The list price from the mail-order company was almost $90. We paid $49.99.
