Toy Biz stock has rebounded a bit to 9 or so, I guess due to the fact it has received the 20 mil line of credit. My guess is that the line of credit is a high interest line due to the continued hemorrhaging of the bottom line at Toybiz. We toured some toy stores to check their products, and I must say they were extremely crappy looking toys, esp w/re to marvel characters. Very cheezy. Maybe that's why they are losing tons of money. Marvel should retain all rights to all its premier characters, dump toy biz, start fresh with new ideas, add characters etc. Their comics are FANTASTIC, and I THING their theme parks can be huge, along with their restaurants. TV Cartoons are good, video games are basically untapped, & Movies will only spur new sales. I hope perelman is ousted completely from the whole scenario, as he is the guy who drove the company into the toilet, he also drove Coleman into the toilet, and toybiz too (watch what he gets involved with next and short to the moon). We could all write letters to the bankruptcy judge and express our opinions, and I think we should. I maintain Marvel has some incredible opportunities in front of it and with BETTER mgmt, they will make it. Cheap at .60.
