I emailed Acer last week asking for information on Steve Lair. I received a email yesterday from Human Resources giving me a name and number to call.

I called and told them that I wanted to get information about Mr. Lair, because he may become the CEO of a company I was considering investing in and I thought it was a good idea to know as much about his employment background as possible.

I asked for his dates of employment, his position when employed and his age(I'm interested in knowing if he's near retirement age). They couldn't give me his age, but the other information was no problem.

My question to you is, why do you have a problem with me finding out about Steve Lair? I thought he was supposed to be a good guy. I'll admit that I'm concerned that nothing official has come out about him being NETZ CEO. All we have is pure speculation at this point, but it would be nice to verify employment I should think.

I still would like to know if he is near or at retirement age, like Meatchum. I mean if he's had 25 years experience he's no spring chicken obviously, but exactly how old is he? Will he be around 1 year, 5 years, 10 years or what? Has he taken a substantial salary, with which to feather his retirement nest, to let his name be used as CEO for a short while?

These are legitimate questions I have. Can any of you answer them factually without a lot of "I have a dream" type answers?
